
Elizabeth Mary (Ludwig) Manger, 59, of Farmington ""Liz"" to her family and friends, beloved wife for 39 years of Kenneth R. Manger, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, (October 29, 2007) in the Hospital for Special Care, New Britain. After a long, debilitating and courageous struggle with COPD Liz is now at peace. Liz was born on March 5, 1948, in Uelzen, Germany and was the adopted daughter of the late George and Sophie Ludwig. She is predeceased by her brother Nicholas Ludwig. Besides her loving husband, Kenneth, Liz is survived by her mother Erika Berger of Soltau Germany; her children, Kristen of Farmington, Todd and wife Sue of Plainville, and their son Liz's grandson her pride and joy- Logan. Liz will always be remembered for her incredible love of animals especially her dogs, birds and horses. She so very much enjoyed riding with her daughter and friends especially on the trails through the woods. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Hospital of Special Care for the treatment given during the four years Liz was a resident. Funeral services and burial are private.
