Enid Azan Little, 102, of Wethersfield passed away peacefully at home on Friday (July 10, 2020), with her family by her side. She was born on November 12, 1917 in Jamaica but spent her formative years in Cuba and often reverted to speaking Spanish when she got excited. Enid migrated to the United States in 1968. She was predeceased by her husband Lincoln (Wethersfield building inspector) in 2014; daughter Pamela Gianni and her husband Vincent; 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. She is survived by sons, Khaleel James (Claire) and Andree James, daughters, Pauline Edgar (Archer), Ofelia Chang (George) and Cecelia Little. Brother Joseph Azan, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and stepchildren. A longtime resident, she was a member of the Wethersfield Methodist Church. She enjoyed travel, bowling, reading, anything artsy and playing dominoes with family who never got the better of her. The family thanks MASONICARE for their compassionate hospice services. Due to COVID considerations, there are no calling hours and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel of Wethersfield has been entrusted with the final arrangements. Memorial donations can be made to a kitty shelter or a charity of the donor's choice.
