Eugene T. Carlin

Eugene T. Carlin; Age 63; of Middletown, CT died suddenly and unexpectedly on July 13, 2023. Gene had survived his husband of 30 years, Bob Bridgett who died in 2015. They had enjoyed a life together full of love, laughter and travel. Gene will be remembered for his infectious laugh and unending stories. He brought any gathering to life and will be greatly missed.

Gene is survived by his three sisters; Marby LaTorraca (Bob), Crystal Carlin (Terry) and Jane Darling, his many in-laws, his “son” Shawn Jobbagy, ten nieces and nephews and more loving friends than could possibly be listed!

Gene was also predeceased by his parents Charlie and Jerry, his brother Chuck and two sisters Phyllis and Jerry.

A Celebration of Gene’s Life will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday September 8, 2023, at Wethersfield Country Club; 76 Country Club Road; Wethersfield, CT. Family and friends are welcome to share their favorite stories and a buffet dinner will follow.
