

Frank Caccamo, 51, of Newington, CT, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, with his loving family by his side. Born in Hartford, CT on January 21st, 1975, Frank was the beloved son of Rosalba (Stella) Caccamo and the late Francesco Caccamo. He grew up in Hartford’s South End and graduated from Bulkeley High School. He worked for over 17 years at Home Depot, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and reliability. Frank was a gentle and kind soul. He was remarkably patient and generous, always willing to help whether it was family, a lifelong friend or a stranger in need. He was a world traveler at heart and loved sightseeing during his trips to Sicily, Arizona, Florida, the Carolinas, Lake George, and all of New England. He loved to take road trips and he put nearly 300,000 miles on his first new car and was especially proud to have driven it up Mount Washington. He was also a devoted fan of 1980s rock/metal music and loved attending concerts. He cherished the memory of meeting one of his guitar heros, Zakk Wylde. Above all else, Frank will always be remembered for his kindness, honesty, humility, quirky wit, excellent memory and his loyal and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Along with his mother Rosalba, Frank will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his older sister Lucinda (Caccamo) Charlow and her husband Patrick Charlow, his younger brother Vincent Caccamo, along with his nephews Jordan Charlow and his wife Nya (Wright) Charlow, Bailey Charlow, Angelo Caccamo and Dante Caccamo.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel has been entrusted by the family with the services.
