Frank E. Parady,

Frank E. Parady, Jr., 69, passed away on Sunday (October 30, 2011). Born in New Britain on September 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Frank E. and Eva (Davenport) Parady and resided in East Hartford for many years prior to moving to South Windsor. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Hartford Distributors Inc. in Manchester for 20 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local 1035 in South Windsor. Frank was an avid golfer who enjoyed working at Long Hill Country Club in East Hartford and Keeney Golf Course in Hartford. He was an outdoorsman who would regularly travel to Moosehead Lake in Maine to snowmobile with family and friends from Waterville, ME. Frank was also a proud friend for 26 years of Bill W. He is survived by his son, Jeff P. Parady of Margate, FL; his best friend, John Hollis and his wife, Lori of East Hartford and their children John, Jr., Fred, Jessica and Michael, who all called him ""Uncle Frank""; a special friend, Sandy Nelson of Manchester; and several dear friends, especially his golf buddies and fellow Horseshoe Club friends. He was predeceased by his son, Mark Allen Parady.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 4th at 12 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Burial with military honors will be at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call TODAY from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
