Genellie C. Santos

Genellie C. Santos, 27, of East Hartford, cherished mother of Bryson L. Harris and devoted daughter of Jose Santos and Karen Rosario, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2021 surrounded by her family. Genellie was born in Hartford on April 24, 1994, she grew up in Hartford and was a graduate of Hall High School in West Hartford. Genellie worked in the real estate field as a leasing agent. In addition to her beauty, she had a charismatic personality and infectious smile, she lit up the room when she entered. Genellie loved listening to music, whenever the music came on you would always see her singing and dancing along. She was very outgoing and enjoyed spending time with her siblings and her many cousins and friends. In her quiet time, she also loved to write poems and kept of journal of her thoughts. Most of all, she loved being a mom.

In addition to her parents and her son, Genellie leaves her sisters Meagan Johnson and Jennifer Velazque and her brother Jose Santos, Jr. She also leaves her paternal grandfather Hiram Miranda and maternal grandmother Carmen Acevedo. In addition, she leaves her many family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her paterneral grandmother, Edna Diaz and maternal grandfather Miguel Rosario.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 3rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a prayer service being held at 1 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.
