Giorgio DiCesare

We are sad to share the passing of Giorgio DiCesare, 66, of East Hampton, beloved husband of Maria (Pizzoferrato) DiCesare, on September 27, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital. Giorgio was born in Amatrice, Italy and was the son of the late Antonio N. and Angela (Presutti) DiCesare.  Giorgio was a 1977 graduate of Bulkeley High School and went on to graduate from Porter and Chester Technical School in 1979. He spent the majority of his career as a draftsman working in the manufacturing industry at Wiremold-LeGrand. Giorgio was involved with the Newington Jaycees and Junior Achievement of West Hartford. Above all else, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and his happiest moments were those shared with family.

In addition to his wife, Giorgio leaves his children, Nicholas E. DiCesare, Stephanie L. Wells (Johnny) and Jessica M. DiCesare along with his cherished grandchildren, Jackson, Olivia and Parker. He also leaves his siblings, Laura Galasyn (Peter), Luisa Buckler (Scott) and Giuseppe DiCesare (Dawn), in addition to his mother-in-law, Lucia Pizzoferrato and sisters-in-law, Anna and Lisa Pizzoferrato. He also leaves his beloved niece, nephews, extended family and friends. 

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 10th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 11th at 10 a.m. at Maria Reina de La Paz (St. Lawrence O’Toole Church), 494 New Britain Avenue, Hartford. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Church for the funeral Mass.
