Harriette Nanni (Waterhouse)

Harriette (Waterhouse) Nanni, 68, of Wethersfield, wife of the late James J. Nanni, died unexpectedly, Sunday (January 15, 2012). She was born June 28, 1943 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late H. John and Agnes (Cosker) Waterhouse. Harriette was retired from the City of Hartford. She and her husband Jim were worldwide travelers. Harriette enjoyed spending time at the casino and was an avid New York Yankees fan. She will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Nelio Nanni, two nieces and two nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, John and George Waterhouse, her sister-in-law, Olive Nanni and a nephew, Michael F. Nanni.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday (January 19) at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 140 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. The burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. There will not be any calling hours. Donations in Harriette’s memory may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
