Helen (maruccio) Lane

Helen (Marcuccio) Lane, widow of John T. Lane, passed away on Thursday (November 30, 2006). Born in Waterbury on June 13, 1925, Helen resided in Wethersfield since 1952. She was the daughter of the late Julia and S. John Bucheri and the late Joseph Marcuccio. Helen graduated from Bulkeley High School and Miss Marchant's Secretarial School. She was employed by the Wethersfield Board of Education for 23 years as secretary to the Director of Business retiring in 1991. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Roxann Lane of Wethersfield and Kevin and Margaret Lane of East Hartford; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Diane Marcuccio of Rocky Hill; two grandchildren, Melanie and Michael Lane of Wethersfield; cousins, Joe and his wife Nancy Cabanas, Marie Cabanas, and a special dear friend, Lucy Odell. She was predeceased by a brother Francis ""Duke"" Marcuccio. At Helen's request the funeral and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel in Wethersfield.
