Helen Molchan

Helen (Turrill) Molchan, 96, of Wethersfield, beloved wife for 53 years of the late Donald N. Molchan, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Born in Ferndale, Michigan on November 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Louise (Hoffman) Turrill. Helen devoted her life to her family, staying home to raise her and Don’s three sons. She and Don traveled extensively after his retirement to many places all over the world. She was a longtime member of the Wethersfield Players Club.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Helen will be forever missed by her three sons, David Molchan and wife Catherine, Jeffrey Molchan and his wife Natalya and Richard Molchan and wife Linda; seven adored grandchildren, Michael Molchan, Chris Molchan, Katherine Molchan, Erin Molchan, Jonathan Molchan, Emily Thege and John C. Molchan and four cherished great-grandchildren, Lucas and Chase Thege, Millicent Molchan and Marcella Molchan. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Riggs and many extended family members.

Funeral services will be private.The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
