Ines Cordeiro (Freitas)

Ines (Freitas) Cordeiro, 74, of Newington, passed away suddenly Friday (August 19, 2011). She was born on June 20, 1937 in Azores, Portugal, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Coutinho) Freitas. Ines was so very loved by all her family and everyone who knew her. Our special memories of her cheerful spirit and her giving heart will be cherished always. She is survived by her two sons, Carlos Cordeiro and his wife Nancy, of Palmer M.A., and David Cordeiro of Vernon; two daughters, Maria Furman and her husband Les, of Newington, and Nadine McLeish and her husband Charles of Tolland. She also leaves eleven beloved grandchildren; Russell Furman and his wife Megan, Joseph Mullock and Emily Sullivan, Stacy Brazil and her husband Jared, Shaun Mullock and his wife Yuko, Jordan Furman, Melony Cordeiro, Justin Cordeiro, David Cordeiro, Nichole Cordeiro, Erin Auten and her husband David, and Cameron Daniel and her husband Paul; 11 great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will leave Wednesday (August 24th) at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect St. Wethersfield. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. funeral chapel.
