He is also survived by two brothers, Ricky and Michael Sansabrino; two sisters, Linda Aziz and her husband David and Lori Sansabrino; four sisters-in-law, Roxanne Sherwood, Gina Cusano and her husband Ilio, Maria Cecchini and her husband Darren, Tina Martinez and her husband Carlos; as well as his nieces, Nikki Mordasiewicz and her husband Karl, Danielle and Samantha Cusano, Gianna Roc Martinez, Jennifer, Chrissy and Gracie Sansabrino, Diana Patterson and her husband Corey, Gina Aziz, Amanda Budney and her husband Blake, MacKenzie Sherwood, Michaela, Izabella and Amelia Mordasiewicz; nephews, Brian Sherwood, Michael Scavetta and his wife Cassandra and Joseph Scavetta and his wife Sonya, Salvatore Cavaliere, Logan Sherwood, Lorenzo DelValle, Joseph, Andrea and Rocco Scavetta and Easton Patterson and numerous extended family members and friends. He was a beloved brother, grandfather and most of all father. Big Jim was one of a kind and lived his life marching to the beat of his own drum. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday (October 9) from 4-6 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Sending my condolences to all of the family. Growing up next door to the Sansabrino's was filled with so many fun memories. Jimmy used to sing us that Al Green song - still makes me laugh.
Keep all the good memories and good times in your hearts.

To my dear nephews, Jimmy, Mikie, Nicholas & Jonny, no words can express how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your Dad and my big brother. Your dad was one of the most kindest and generous people we will ever know. He truly had a golden heart, he was there for anyone in time and need and would always run to the rescue. He was a man of many words, and held true to what he spoke. Dad had an amazing singing voice that I still hear clear to this day, A great memory of Dad was how much he loved rocking each of his children and grandchildren while he sang them to sleep. There are so many fond memories to hold dear to your heart, I for one will never forget our trip to Disney. Always know that your Dad will always be by your side, always make him proud. Dad would walk to the ends of the earth for everyone of you, how he loved you so, hold that dear to your heart. May you Rest In Peace Jimmy and know you will be greatly missed. You are gone but will never be forgotten for those who were fortunate enough to truly know you know you are unforgettable. Will never forget your sky blue eyes and your smile. Love you for always and forever. ❤️ Auntie Linda
