Jessica was deeply connected to her mother Susan, who threw elaborate birthday celebrations for her that is remembered by many. Jessica was her mother’s best friend and there wasn’t a day that they didn’t see each other. They watched their special shows together and sent each other purple hearts throughout the days. Jessica and Susan’s bond can never be broken. Her greatest love was her daughter Desirae, and Jessica’s spirit will live on through her. Jessica carried the elaborate birthday tradition on for Desirae, making her custom Oreo cakes. She shared a special relationship with her husband that could never be matched in any lifetime. She loved her father, Kirk, more than any daughter could, she was his firstborn and she would drop anything to help him. Jessica was the protector of her only little sister, Corri. Jessica was Corri’s everything, guiding her through life in the most caring and loving way that a sister could. Their love for each other is so deep that it will go on for eternity. Jessica was the rock and center to her Aunt Donna; they were an inseparable duo and Donna fondly remembers their Vero Beach trip. Jessica cherished her relationship with her Aunt Lisa as well as all of her other aunts and uncles.
Jessica’s Papa Harry, her husband Harry, and parents never left her side while she was sick. Jessica cherished her talks with her Papa, as he was her protector from the moment she was born. Papa Harry and his wife MaryAnn “Mimi” had a lifetime special bond with Jessica, taking her on RV trips, buying her first bicycle in Brattleboro, VT, both Papa and Mimi would run miles teaching Jessica how to ride her bicycle. Her Mimi would talk to her everyday, and adored her. Papa and Mimi spent their entire lives loving Jessica. With Mimi passing recently, her loss was enormous to Jessica, but Papa knows they are together forever. Jessica was also very close with her Aunt “JoJo” Joanie who remembers Jessica as her little treasure with a heart of gold. Jessica was the first grandchild of the family, setting the bar high and paving the way for the rest of the grandchildren.
Jessica loved butterflies and sunsets, especially those on a tropical island. She loved her animals, makeup, crystals, and the color purple. Her favorite flowers were lilacs and hydrangeas. Above all else, Jessica loved to help others feel beautiful on the inside and out, using her talent as a makeup artist as an expression of making others feel their best. Jessica also knew how to get things done, never settling for less, and this reflected in her work as she managed various offices over the years. She was an old soul and deeply connected to her music, particularly Adele and Darius Rucker. Jessica was one of a kind and no words could truly capture the depth of her spirit. She will always be our sunshine, and while we miss her so very deeply, she will forever remain in the lives of her loved ones.
