Joanne was born in Hartford on June 24, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Lucy (Vasquez) Misseri. Joanne grew up in Hartford’s Italian East Side, surrounded by the many traditions and customs that families in the neighborhood had to offer. A devoted mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her daughters, Cheryl R. Constantine of Windsor and Victoria R. Pepin and husband Mark Pepin of Middlefield and her beloved granddaughter, Ashley E. Constantine of Enfield. Joanne’s family would like to thank the staff of Live Well in Plantsville for their extraordinary care and compassion.
