John C. Robinson, M.D.

John C. Robinson, M.D., 90, of Hartford, husband of Mary (Goodale) Robinson, died Wednesday, (August 31, 2011), at Hartford Hospital. Born in Springfield, MA, son of the late Richard M. and Mary (Christie) Robinson John lived in Vermont, West Hartford and Glastonbury prior to moving to Hartford five years ago. Dr. Robinson was Vice President and Chief Medical Director at the Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford for more than 30 years. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. John was a member of the U.S. Power Squadron. Besides Mary, his beloved wife of 68 years, John is survived by two children; a son, Dick Robinson and his wife Cissy of Old Orchard Beach, ME and a daughter, Martha Crevier and her husband, Paul of Richmond Hill, GA; two sisters, Mary-Jean Ridout of Mystic and Ruth Chewning of Panama City, FL; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
