Jose A. Flores, 77, of Hartford, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026. Jose was born on July 14, 1949 in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico and was the son of the late Primitivo and Flora (Perez) Flores. Jose retired from St. Francis Hospital after 25 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling.
He leaves his sisters, Maria Flores and Olga Flores; brothers, Eduardo Flores and Luis Flores; his nieces, nephews, many friends and his son, Jerry Flores. He was predeceased by his brother, Ubaldo Flores.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 31 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. A Chapel Prayer Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the conclusion of the visitation. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
