He is survived by his wife Ivette, son Jonathan, daughter Avalon, son-in-law Christian, mother Nicolasa, brothers Ramón and Gilberto, sister Carmen, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and two dogs Lola and Mylo. He was a hardworking man, who worked his entire life always helping others. Tony worked for the school systems, worked as a security guard and even was a part of the Hartford Police Department. For 20 plus years he worked as an oil burner technician, 18 of those years were spent with Brothers Oil in East Hartford. Making lifelong friends along the way, he was beloved by his customers, and some turned into great friends, and one specially turned into his wife. After many years of working, he was grateful he finally got the opportunity to retire. He was extremely ambitious and the best handyman we called him “Mr. Fix it”. He put 1000% into everything he did, and he could accomplish anything he put his mind to, he would not stop working until the job was finished to his satisfaction. Everything had to be perfect, he put many hours into all his projects and loved using all his gadgets and tools. You know he was finished when he would start calling everyone to come check out the finished product or asked if you saw the pictures on Facebook. He was always asking everyone how things came out and if it looked good, he took pride in his work and also in his cooking skills. He fancied himself as a “Grill Master” his most requested dish was his chicken from the grill and had the best lasagna in the world. He would ask you many times how things came out and how does it taste? His favorite things to watch was his cooking shows, he would have given any top chef a run for their money. He enjoyed fishing, action movies, and him and his daughter loved The Walking Dead and couldn’t wait for new seasons to start. He loved and had a passion for NFL football and was a diehard Patriots fan who was always ready to catch a game and would brag whenever they won. During games he would constantly call his son in law and ask, “Dude did you see that play, what’s going on I have to get Brady on the line”. Tony was the life of the party and always kept everyone laughing, he had many jokes. He had many nicknames for everyone and was the type to always call you to check in. He always wanted to call his mother-in-law because he knew he could have her laughing with his jokes, and she would always respond with “Tonnyyy”. Heaven has gained an amazing angel. José “Tony” Pardo will be remembered as the caring, loving, funny, generous, courageous, strong man that he was. Tony will be greatly missed and forever loved!
