Joseph Anzellotti

Giuseppe “Joe” Anzellotti, 74, of Wethersfield, husband of the late Valerie Desaulniers, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 7, 2025. Born in Hartford, Joseph was the son of Domenico Anzellotti and Dolinka “Dolly” (DiLoreto).

After graduating Bulkeley High School in 1969, Joe spent many years as a painter by trade. He was an avid basketball fan, enjoyed spending time at the pool table with friends and always looked forward to a round of golf.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Anzellotti and his wife Heather, as well as his siblings Paula Anzellotti and Domenico Anzellotti, Jr. and his niece, Sydney Anzellotti. In addition to his wife, Joe was predeceased by his parents.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to April and Cindy, whose care for him was appreciated the last several months.

A time of visitation will be held Thursday, March 13th, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Christ the King Parish (Church of the Incarnation), 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford.
