Joseph A. Bianco

Theresa (Mallardi) Bianco, died peacefully Friday, February 12, 2016 at the place he loved the most, his time share in Orange Lake, Florida. He was born August 31, 1941 in Hartford. Joseph was employed in the banking industry; after his retirement he lived life to the fullest, traveling and spending time with friends and family. He was a supporter of local businesses and took pride in his community. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Hartford Elks and other organizations. Joe was loving, caring and generous towards his friends and family, always willing to provide assistance in any way he could. He was an advisor to many on finances, investing, cooking and enjoying life. He will be dearly missed. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Gennaro “Gene” Bianco and wife Lucy. He is survived by his brother, Vito Bianco and wife Angie of South Windsor; sister, Rosanne Brown and husband Jim of Enfield; nieces and nephews, Sue Tenore and husband Mario and their children, Marc and Michael, all of Wethersfield, Debbie LaPenta and husband Steve of West Palm Beach, Florida, Kathy Keroack and her children, Nick and Chris, all of East Windsor, Anthony Bianco of New Hartford, Robert Bianco and his children, Robert Jr., and Cindy of Belmont, New Hampshire, Phil Brown and wife Irene and their children, Matt and Alex, all of Enfield, Michelle Thompson and husband Robert and their children, Heather and Kylie, all of Somers. In addition to his family, he leaves behind his close personal friend, Janice Girandola and godchildren, Tina Chokas and Kelly Thibeault.

Funeral service will be Monday (February 22) at 9:15 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 66 Bolton Street, Hartford. The burial will be in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield. Calling hours are Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
