Joyce Susan Greco

Joyce Susan Greco, 66, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of Angelo R. Greco, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, (May 21, 2013). She was born in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Muriel (Orelup) Eckert. Joyce was a hairdresser and was formerly employed by Sage Allen and Schultz Beauty Salon of West Hartford. She was very artistic, enjoyed doing crafts, collecting dolls, traveling and cooking. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Michael T. Greco and wife Wendy L. of East Hartford, Paul A. Greco of Wethersfield, Robert M. Greco and wife Lee-Ann of Rocky Hill and Marilyn Ann Greco of Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Aniyah, Robert, Jr., Michael, Jordan, Anthony, Leo plus one to be expected soon, Angelo. She is also survived by a brother, Bruce; three sisters, Faye, Beth and Lynn; sister-in-law, Mary Gagliardi; brother-in-law, Anthony J. Greco and a nephew, Peter R. Gagliardi. She was predeceased by a brother, Keith; sister-in-law, Stella Greco and a nephew, Ralph Gagliardi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Church, 767 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Everyone is invited to go directly to the church. The burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
