Kathleen “Katy” Ann Anderson, 80, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Born in Hartford on December 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Ahern) Anderson and had lived in the area all her life. Katy worked for the Hartford Archdiocese for over 40 years. She was an avid traveler. She was intelligent and well-read and will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, Susan Schwartz, Linda Schwartz, John Schwartz and David Schwartz. Katy was predeceased by her best friend, Joanne Schwartz.
Graveside service will be Monday (June 12) at 12 noon at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Rd., Bloomfield. Donations in Katy’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite B, Southington, CT 06489.
