Keishla Claudio, 33, of Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2026. Born in Springfield, MA, on February 9, 1993, she was the daughter of Raymond Claudio of Springfield, MA, and Dennise Colon of Meriden.
Keishla was a free spirit who lived life on her own terms, but above all else, she was a fighter. To Keishla, loyalty wasn't just a word; it was the foundation of family. She was a fierce protector of those she loved—strong, vocal, and unapologetically herself. While her heart was enormous, she was known to have a "watch out" energy; she was a woman who didn't back down and wasn't afraid to stand her ground if it meant defending her circle. That combination of toughness and deep love made her the backbone of her family.
A graduate of Capital Community College with her Associate’s degree, Keishla dedicated her career to helping others as a Juvenile Correctional Officer for the State of Massachusetts. Her strength and straight-shooting nature made her uniquely suited for her work, where she impacted many young lives with her directness and care.
Keishla’s four children were the absolute center of her world. She will be forever missed by her twins, Chase and Chance Anderson, as well as Tristan Anderson and Grace Claudio. She also leaves behind her parents; her siblings, Xavier, Joshua, Ray, Pablo, Jonathan, Justus, Anamaleh, Omayra, Natasha, and Patience; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who both loved and respected the incredible force of nature she was.
Calling Hours will be Tuesday, May 5, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. concluding with a Prayer Service at 1:30 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
