Linda Nowak

Linda Nowak, 57, of Wethersfield, wife of the late Edward Nowak passed away Sunday (June 10, 2012). She was born October 31, 1954 in Hartford the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Moldeski) Nowak. Linda was a 1972 graduate of Wethersfield High School. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed animals, especially, cats, dogs, chickens and turtles, and frequently donated to the Humane Society. She also enjoyed her time as an aide for Panda Home Care and crocheting in her spare time. Linda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas James McDonald and his wife Jill of Yorktown Heights, NY; her brother, Thomas Nowak of Wethersfield; her nephews, Stephen and Robert Nowak of Wethersfield; and her niece, Christina Layne of Cobleskill, NY. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Nowak.

Funeral services will leave Thursday June 14 at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
