Louis A. 'Lou' Carbone, DDS, 80, of Natick St., Hartford, died Thursday, (January 31, 2008) in Hartford. Born in Hartford, son of the late Frank and Lucy (LaPera) Carbone, Lou lived in Hartford all his life. Dr. Carbone had his dental practice in Hartford for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army serving during World War II and was the recipient of a World War II Victory Medal. He was a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford and the University of St. Louis in St. Louis, MO. Lou was a member of the MENSA Society and earned the distinction of qualifying as an Intertel member, the top one percent of the society. He is survived by a brother, Dr. Joseph F. Carbone of Beeville, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Friday, February 8, at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
