Margo E. DeLoreto

Margo E. (McKeon) DeLoreto, 85, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023 surrounded by her family. Margo was born on March 6, 1938 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Walter and Estelle (Scepanski) McKeon. Margo worked as a Secretary for 45 years for the Hallisey and D’Agostino Accounting firm. Margo especially enjoyed her time spent at Old Orchard Beach, ME and Myrtle Beach, SC., she loved shopping, especially for shoes.

Sadly, Margo leaves behind her husband Raymond Mafera - her partner, best friend, and her superman to whom her daughter is forever grateful for, for his undenying love, patience, and care he selflessly gave to Margo. She also leaves behind her two daughters; Cheryl DeLoreto of Waterford, and Lauren DeLoreto of Niantic, her sister Barbara Spada and her husband John of Wethersfield, Sister-in-Law Patricia McKeon of Middletown and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to her parents, Margo was predeceased by her brother Walter McKeon and the father of her children, Edward DeLoreto.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30, at 10 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield. Burial will follow at Village Cemetery in Old Wethersfield. Margo’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 29, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel. The family would like to thank Ms. Felicia Arthur for the compassionate and loving care she provided to not only Margo but to everyone else in the family.
