Marie Agnes (verizzi) Riccio

Marie Agnes (Verizzi) Riccio, 69, of Wood Lake Village, SC, formerly of Bloomfield, loving wife of John J. Riccio, died Friday, (July 3, 2009) at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (Sanzo) Verizzi. Marie was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, South Carolina and was also a member of the Wood Lake Village Bowling League. Besides her husband John of 51 years, she is survived by her son, John J. Riccio, Jr. of Windsor Locks; a brother, Dominic Verizzi and his wife Helen of Aurora, CO; two sisters, Nancy Buckland and Camille Kramig; sister-in-law, Ellen Riccio of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews. Marie is also survived by special friends, Lawrence and Virginia Guardiani. Graveside burial service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, (Section M), Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
