Marjorie Margie"" LeRoy Delisio

Marjorie 'Margie' LeRoy Delisio of Wethersfield, wife of the late James F. Delisio, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was born in Hartford to the late Anthony and Marguerite (Riccardo) Leroy. Margie was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, and the Cambridge Business School. She was a long time member of the Italian American Junior League, founded by her mother. Margie had a passion for dance and enjoyed teaching with her sister at the Marie Leroy Keane School of Dance in Portland. She was a member of NADAA, and loved teaching her Wednesday morning line dancing and her Friday night ballroom class at the Portland Senior Center. An avid bowler, Margie bowled twice a week, and loved going to lunch with her teammates. She was a devoted communicant of Corpus Christi Church. Margie is survived by her son, Anthony Delisio of Wethersfield, daughter, Carol Hebert and her husband Michael of Eagleville, PA, her three beautiful grandsons, Christian, Jonathan, Brandon and his girlfriend Jess. She was predeceased by her sister, Marie Leroy Keane Botelle. Calling hours are Sunday (January 10) from 2-5 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (January 11) at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margie's memory may be made to the Wethersfield Food Bank.
