Martha (Fushiello) Gentile

Martha Gentile, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the amazing age of 104. She was born April 5, 1913 to Rose (Ciani) and James Fushiello. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Gentile, to whom she was married for 59 years until his passing in 1991. She lived independently in her home ever since. She was also predeceased by her son, Joseph F. Gentile, Jr.; her grandson, Dr. John Arcari Jr. and her granddaughter, Laura Gentile, as well as her sisters, Theresa Longo Sicuranza, Viola Behrendt and Carmela “Millie” Goodman. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Maria and John Arcari of Wethersfield; daughter-in-law, Wilma Gentile of Cromwell; grandchildren, John and Judy Gentile of Cromwell, Lisa (Arcari) and Jeff Krawczyk of Wethersfield, Joseph and Olivia Gentile, Greg Arcari and Michael Avitable, all of Florida; great-grandchildren, Jamie (Gentile) and Evan Seratan, Joseph Gentile IV, Nicholas and Gabrielle Gentile and Haley and Chance Krawczyk and her great-great-granddaughter, Isla Faye Seratan. She is also survived by her sisters, Gloria Barrows of Vernon and Angeline Lowry of East Hartford; nephews, John Reuber and Richard Barrows and nieces, Sue Rohde and Judy Sophias.
