Mary (Grygus) Pelletier

Mary (Grygus) Pelletier, 101, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Roland H. Pelletier, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday (July 6, 2014). Born in Hartford on March 12, 1913, Mary was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Catarine (Rzlywiak) Grygus. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her daughter, Cathy Kucinskas and husband Philip of Glastonbury and three adored grandchildren and their families, Tyler Dewhurst and partner Jose Vargas of New Hampshire, Kevin Dewhurst and wife Linda and their children, Justin and Ethan of East Hampton, and Krissy Anderson and husband Marc and their children, Griffin, Gavin and Gabrielle of Andover. Mary is also survived by her cousin, Josephine Motekaitis of Newington and special family friend, Ronnie Holowesko of Wethersfield. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Anne Tezack.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (July 10) at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 135 Wethersfield, Ave., Hartford. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. There are no calling hours.
