Michael Scott “Miggs” Daly, 35, formerly of Wethersfield and Old Saybrook, passed away October 10, 2010 at his home in Deep River. A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, he was employed by The Safety Zone in Essex. Michael was an avid NY Yankees fan and loved to tease his friends and family with inning by inning commentaries of every game. His family will always have fond memories of their summers together at Cornfield Point and their holiday dinner conversations. He was loved by all who knew him and his kindness and compassion will be missed. Besides his mother and stepfather, Joanne and Savino Civitillo, he leaves his brothers: James and his wife Barbara, Christopher and his wife Mary, Michael Civitillo and his wife Lisa, Steven Civitillo and his wife Sandy, and his sister Patti Civitillo, as well as his cherished nieces and nephews. He also leaves his father James M. Daly and his wife Gloria, and his special friend Tonia Tubaya. Funeral services will be Friday October 15th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Everyone is asked to go directly to church. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield.
