Nancy (d'amico) Reale

Nancy P. (D'Amico) Reale, 98, of Hartford, wife of the late Dominic Reale, died peacefully on Sunday, (February 25, 2007) at Chesterfield Health Care Center in Chester. She was born October 18, 1908 in Canicattini Bagni, province of Siracusa, Sicily and was the daughter of the late Paolo and Lucia (Marino) D'Amico. She lived in Hartford most of her life and was a seamstress in the Hartford area for many years. She will be sadly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her son, Joseph Reale and his wife, Theresa of West Haven, her two daughters, Vincenza Brown of East Hampton and Lucy Nobile and her husband, Thomas of Westbrook, eight grandchildren, Louis, Robert, Francis and Michael DiPace, Dr. Marie Fagan, John Nobile, Rosanne Nobile and Linda Erickson as well as ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Sebastiana Salemi. She is also survived by two great nieces, Judy Craig and Annette Cusovitch and a great nephew, Pasquale Salemi. Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 1, at 10:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. The burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hour will be Thursday morning from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the Mass.
