

Pasquale DeMichele, 92, of Hartford, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully Saturday (February 14, 2009) at his home. He was born March 17, 1916 in Windsor Locks and was the son of the late Vito and Marie (Fontana) DeMichele. Pat was a WW II, US Coast Guard, Merchant Marine veteran. He was a Chief Engineer for the Merchant Marines. He was predeceased by his 2 sisters, Anna D'Aprile and Lucy Hamilton and 2 brothers, John and Anthony DeMichele. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Ethel DeMichele who was a very dear and special friend, as well as 12 nieces, nephews, Victor DeMichele and his wife, Hermine, Thomas DeMichele and his wife, Patricia, Patrick DeMichele, William DeMichele and his wife, Elizabeth, Anthony DeMichele and his wife, Diane, Kelly D'Aprile, Benjamin D'Aprile and his wife, Elaine, Patrick Hamilton and his wife, Joyce, Marie Connors, Catherine Nero, Stasia DeMichele, Sister Marie D'Aprile, CP and Theresa Crescimanni and her husband, Jack, also many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two nephews, Leonard and Joseph DeMichele. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield. The burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford with full military honors. Calling hours will be TODAY from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
