Patricia Dondzik-Hagberg (Gallas)

Patricia (Gallas) Dondzik-Hagberg, 84, of Wethersfield and Flagler Beach, FL, beloved wife of the late Ralph Hagberg passed away peacefully on Monday (May 27, 2013) with her loving family by her side at Hartford Hospital. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Dondzik. Pat was born in Hartford, April 21, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Estelle (Kudalis) Gallas. She worked as a unit secretary at Hartford Hospital for 20 years. She was very active in the Wethersfield Junior Women's Club, the Wethersfield Seniors, the Wethersfield Historical Society and volunteered at the Keeney Memorial Center. In Florida, Pat was very involved with the Flagler Beach Women's Club and the Flagler Beach Museum. Her family was her pride and joy and nothing mattered more to her than spending time with them. She is survived by her four devoted daughters, Donna Kaufmann and husband, Max, Claudia Dondzik, Valerie Pistritto and husband, Enzo and Laurie Piacentini; her sister, Gloria Scoville of Flagler Beach, FL and five adored grandchildren, Eric Dondzik, Frank Louis Dondzik, Miranda Piacentini, John Piacentini, Michael Anthony Pistritto and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Stephen Gallas and was recently predeceased by her son, Frank Dondzik. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 1 at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Calling hours will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral chapel prior to the service.
