Patricia LaRosa

Born on September 11, 1940 in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Florence (Bonadies) DiFazio. She graduated from Hartford Public High School, Class of ’58. Patricia married young and spent many years at home raising her children. She then pursued a career as a bookkeeper at Rhode Oil Company and retired after several years. She loved to travel with her husband and close friends and visited many countries such as Italy, Spain, Greece, and Portugal. Patricia was an avid shopper and loved nothing more than purchasing presents for her daughter and granddaughter. She will be remembered as a kind and very generous person who showered those she loved with many gifts.

Patricia is survived by a daughter, Elise Francis and her husband Timothy of Rocky Hill and her granddaughter, Mikayla Nichole Francis, whom she cherished. She leaves a sister, Johanne Putzer and her husband Jerry of Wethersfield, she also leaves a brother, Carl DiFazio and his wife Nikki of Rocky Hill and 4 nieces along with 3 grandnieces and 3 grandnephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Michael P. LaRosa.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Friday (March 26th) at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. James Church (St. Josephine Bakhita Parish) 767 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
