I moved around a lot as a child, but for two years in East Hartford, Peter and I were friends and constant companions. I lived on Burnside, around the corner from him.  I've frequently thought of his kindness and recently thought to search the internet.  I was sadden to learn that Peter has passed.  My deepest condolences to his family and friends.  I never knew him as an adult, but it seems he was the same fun loving, gentle spirit throughout his life.  I just wanted you to know he is remembered.

I used to work with Pete at Coco's and Reuben's in east Hartford in the late 70's where margaritas is now. He befriended me when I needed someone to talk to and took me under his wing to help and teach me. We stayed in contact for many years after thru the late 90's and every time I would run into him he always had that infectious smile that was classic Pete.

Peter is a very special man. He was my best friend and  roommate for 2 years.  We continued to talk and text after he moved to North Carolina. Rod and I went to visit him in June of 2014.  Little did I know that would be the last time I saw his handsome face. I am very thankful that I have that memory. Peter always made me laugh and could cheer me up when I needed it. I'm really going to miss his nutty text messages. I am happy that I got to spend the time with him that I did. Peter, you will always be my best friend,  I will never forget you. Especially when a Beatles song comes on. I will think of all the times we spent in the kitchen with Rod listening to your records. We love you.

I will be missing all the talking n texting we did. The fun we use to have in high school, even after that. When I came up from Alabama I had to stop to see pete n has family while I was up. I going to miss you brother. RIP Love You
