Scott will be remembered by my family as a well-loved neighbor and friend whose sense of humor was surpassed only by his selflessness. He helped create some fond memories, when all our children were little, square dancing with several couples who would wind up afterwards at Friendly's for ice cream, to replace all those calories we had just burned off! Scott, you were a good man who is going to be sorely missed by many.

I wish I could be there for the service, but I am sending my love and sympathy from Texas to his sons, who will always be "the boys" to me.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with the Whinnem family during this sad and difficult time of losing Scott. There are so many memories of the summers spent at Bashan Lake, ie, the laughter, bonfires, swimming at the lake, cookouts and friendships lasting a lifetime. Scott will be greatly missed by so many lives he touched.

May you hold your memories close to your hearts. Sharing this Irish blessing.

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sunshine warm your face
May the rain fall soft upon your fields.
Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of of His hand.

Sending lots of love and prayers to you all.
