Raymond John Kozak

Raymond John Kozak, 82, of New Britain, beloved husband of June (Weymouth) Kozak, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012. Born on March 18, 1930 in West Hartford, he was a son of the late John A. and Josephine (Galkowska) Kozak. He served in the U.S. Army before his career in sales. Raymond was a member of the Bristol Fish & Game Club and enjoyed duck hunting, fishing and trap shooting. Besides his wife June, Raymond is survived by his daughters: Carol Contrastano and her husband Peter, Linda D’Agostino and her husband Michael, Therese Kozak, and grandchildren Jennifer and Joshua all of Bristol; his sister Rosanne Leger of Essex; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 17th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley Street, New Britain. Everyone is asked to go directly to church. Burial will follow in the State Veterans’ Cemetery, Middletown. There are no calling hours.
