

Richard John “Richie” Fradianni, 75 of East Lyme, formerly of Wethersfield, loving husband to Venessa Marquis Fradianni, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Born in Hartford, Richie was the eldest of three boys to the late Frank and Rosemarie (Firetto) Fradianni.
Richie proudly served our country in the United States Army. When he completed his tour of duty, Rich became an Electrician and was employed for many years at the State of Connecticut Veterans’ Home and Hospital, Rocky Hill. He was a true patriot. A fun-loving person who enjoyed life, he easily made friends wherever he went and enjoyed spending time with family. He also enjoyed classic cars, boats and the beach.
In addition to his wife Venessa, Rich will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his two brothers and their wives; John Fradianni with his wife Lisa Laurito of Wethersfield and Frank Fradianni Jr. with his wife Maureen of Nevada, as well as many beloved cousins, extended family members and his long times friends; Jim, Nick, Steve and many other close and dear friends.
The Fradianni family will receive relatives and friends at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield on Tuesday, September 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. concluding with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment with military honors will follow in the State of CT Veterans’ Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
