Ricky Milo Uy Unajan

Ricky Milo Uy Unajan, of West Haven, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at the West Haven VA Medical Center. He was born on June 30, 1973, in Carmen, Bohol, Philippines, to the late Romulo Unajan and Milagros Uy.

Ricky was a devoted father, beloved brother, cherished uncle, and friend to many. Family was at the heart of his life, and he took great pride in the love and relationships he shared with those closest to him. His warmth, loyalty, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ricky dedicated more than five years of service to the VA Medical Center, where he worked as a Supervisor in Sterile Processing. He took pride in his work and in serving others through his commitment and dedication.

An avid marksman, Ricky enjoyed the focus, skill, and camaraderie that came with the sport. Those who knew him will remember not only his passion for marksman­ship, but also the many moments of laughter, companionship, and memories he created with family and friends.

Ricky leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved children, Riggs Dominique Unajan and Jillian Unajan; his brother, Rommil Unajan, Jim; his sister, Melissa Unajan, and her husband, Edward; his sister, Melanie Silagan, and her husband, Sean; and his sister, Melinda Armamento, and her husband, Nell. He also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

A visitation for Ricky will be held on Saturday September 19, 2026 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield, CT 06109. Burial will take place at a later date in the Philippines.
