Robert Allen Avery, 55, of Rocky Hill, passed away Monday (October 13, 2008). Robert was born November 30, 1952, the son of the late Antoinette (Sylvester) and Gordon E. Avery, Sr. Robert leaves his sister, Diane and her husband Michael Liska of South Glastonbury and his brother Gordon E. Avery, Jr. of Middletown. He also leaves his Auntie Justine Weglarz of Cromwell, his nephews, Gordon and Joshua and his niece Samantha Avery, all of Rocky Hill and many loving cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Mark. He served in the U.S. Army. 'Bobby', as he was known to his family and friends, was loving and loyal. He made friends easily and will be especially missed by his veteran buddies.
