Robert Bob Frederick Holt

Robert “Bob” Frederick Holt, 74, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Margaret “Peggy” (Gowley) Holt, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (June 26, 2013). Born on March 25, 1939 in Rockland, ME, he was the son of the late Ralph and Anna (Schnell) Holt. Bob thoroughly enjoyed the Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys and thoroughbred horse racing. He will be greatly missed and forever loved. His sense of humor and terrific singing voice will long be remembered. In addition to his devoted wife Peggy, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage, Bob leaves his two sons, Steven Holt of Vernon and Jeffrey Holt of Wethersfield; his brother, George Holt of Manchester and his nephews, Timothy, Michael and Mark Holt, along with their families. Besides his mother and father, he was predeceased by two brothers, William and Ralph Holt.

Funeral services and burial will be private. The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield has been entrusted with the arrangements.
