Robert W. Krockomberger

Robert William Krockomberger, 61, of Newington, beloved husband for 9 years of Maureen (Murphy), passed away at Hartford Hospital on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Born on November 24, 1963 in Hartford, Robert was the son of Thomas and the late Wilhelmina (Eberhorn) Krockomberger. Robert was an Army National Guard veteran and a successful painter for many years. In addition to his profession, Robert was a devoted family man who cherished all who knew him. An avid outdoorsman and fisherman, Robert was also quick to tell a joke and leave you with a smile.

In addition to his wife Maureen, Robert will be forever missed by his brother, Andrew and his wife Sherrie of Glastonbury; his sisters, Deborah Massa of Wethersfield and Barbara Chamberlin and her husband Peter of Massachusetts. In addition, Robert is survived by his stepson, Dakota Smith; his nieces, Kim Deschenes of Newington and Chelsea Krockomberger of Glastonbury; his nephews, Michael Massa of Florida and AJ Krockomberger of Glastonbury, as well as his great nieces, Samantha and Alexandra Deschenes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Congregational Church, 949 Main Street, South Glastonbury, CT on November 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield has been entrusted with the arrangements.
