Robert “Bob” Michael Pittman, 74, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Born in Bristol on May 2, 1949, he was the son of the late John and Alice (Korytkowski) Pittman. Bob graduated from Bloomfield High School. He worked as a computer operator for Aetna and then Eversource for over 25 years.
Bob enjoyed painting landscapes, cooking good food, and pretending to be good at golf. He always rooted for the NY Giants and Boston Red Sox even if it started a debate.
A loving father and grandfather, Bob will be forever missed by his two daughters, Natalie Pittman and her fiancé James Deren of Middletown and Manon Sarasin and her husband Matthew of Warren, RI and his three adored grandchildren, Madeline, Matthew Jr., and Michael Sarasin. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Pittman and wife Katie McCarthy of Effingham, NH as well as many extended family members and friends. Special thanks to the healthcare workers at Autumn Lake at Cromwell, Compassus Care and Middlesex Hospital.
Calling hours will be Thursday, September 14 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. concluding with a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.
