

Rosalie Catherine (Sica) Cook, 91, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late James Lawrence Cook, passed away on Monday (March 10, 2008). Born in Hartford on January 24, 1917, Rosalie was the owner and operator of Cook's Antique's in Andover. She retired in 1982 to Florida. She was a member of the Manchester Art Association and won many awards including 1st prize for an ocean scene painting. Rosalie is survived by a son Ronald Cook and his wife Joan of Manchester; a brother Charles Sica of Wallingford, a sister Anna Polodolski of Wethersfield, two grandchildren Dean Cook and his wife Gale of Andover and Cheryl Cook of Manchester, three great-grandchildren Aaron, Brett and Lauren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas and William Sica and her sisters Mary Ball and Adelaide Estey. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 14 at 10:30 a.m. at D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield. Burial will follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
