
Rosanna (Italia) Neri, 39, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of Salvatore D. Neri, passed away suddenly on Saturday, (January 31, 2009) as the result of a snowmobile accident while in Massachusetts. Born in Hartford, daughter of Antonio and Enza (Amenta) Italia of Rocky Hill, Rosanna lived in Hartford most of her life before moving to Glastonbury seven years ago. She was a devoted wife and mother and her life revolved around her family. Besides her husband of 12 years and parents, Rosanna is survived by her two cherished children, Elaina T. Neri and Andrew F. Neri, both of Glastonbury; a brother, Lino S. Italia and his wife, Mary Rose of Rocky Hill; a sister, Daniela Silva and her husband, Humberto of South Windsor; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank G. and Maria Neri of Vernon; a sister-in-law, Alfina Milluzzo and her husband, Santo of South Windsor and a brother-in-law, Joseph Neri of Ellington and six nephews and a niece. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Thursday, February 5, at St. Sebastian Church, 155 Washington Street, Middletown. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. The burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield. Memorial contributions may be made to a fund established for the Neri children.
