Rosario mario Giarratana

Rosario ?Mario? Giarratana, 91, of Wethersfield, husband of the late Carmela (Failla) Giarratana passed away on Monday, July 31, 2006. He was born in Floridia, province of Siracusa Sicily, son of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppina (Scifo) Giarratana and had lived in the area for 56 years. He was a furniture maker for Greenberg and Beatman Furniture Company of Hartford and Puritan Furniture of Elmwood. He was an Italian Army veteran of WW II and a member of the American Stars. He leaves his daughter, Tina G. DeMarco and her husband Robert of Berlin, a brother, Salvatore Giarratana of Switzerland, grandchildren, Sarah Natalie and Elizabeth Mary DeMarco, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Carmelo, Giuseppe and Arelio Giarratana and a sister, Tina Giarratana. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 A.M. from the D?Esopo Funeral Chapel 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield with a Mass of Christian Burial 10 A.M. in Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield.
