Ruth M. (macdonald) Blaney

Ruth M. (MacDonald) Blaney 97, of Wethersfield, wife of the late Thomas Blaney, died Sunday (February 17, 2008), at Hartford Hospital. Born in Rockville she lived in Wethersfield for most of her life. She retired as office manager for the Capital City Machine Co., in Hartford after many years of service. She was a long time member of First Church of Christ Wethersfield. She is survived by her grandchildren, Joy DiLoreto and her husband Salvatore of Wethersfield, Penny Cornell of Hartford, Robin Honorja and her husband Ken of Florida, and Robert and Thomas Horan, great grandchildren; Lyndsey, Gracie, Sofia, Kelly, Erin, Tré, Chantelle, Ashley, and Zachary and one great great grandchild, Stormie. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Cornell and her twelve siblings. The funeral is Thursday at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 4 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
