

Salvatore Cavaliere, 45, of Wethersfield, died unexpectedly on Monday, (January 30, 2012) in Wethersfield. Born in Canicattini, Bagni, province of Siracusa, Italy, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Sebastiana (Gulino) Cavaliere and lived in Wethersfield for the last 15 years. He was employed as a Pipe Coverer with the Asbestos Workers Union, Local #33 for more than 25 years. Sal is survived by his beloved son, Salvatore Rocco Cavaliere and his former wife and friend, Maria (Scavetta) Cavaliere, both of Wethersfield; two brothers, Paul Cavaliere and his wife Patricia of Stewart, FL and Roberto Cavaliere. Sal is also survived by his former father-in-law and mother in-law, Rocco and Janet Scavetta; his former sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and his godchild, Samantha Cusano; his aunt, Nella Gulino and cousins Lucia Gulino, Paul Gulino and wife Pina, all of Wethersfield; his aunt, Concettina and cousin, Gaetano, both of Sicily as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Serafina, a special uncle, Pasquale Gulino and his godfather, Santo Gulino.
