Shawn M. Grondin

Shawn M. Grondin, formerly of Danbury, passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2016. Shawn was born in Danbury, CT on July 18th, 1977 son of Darcy A. (Knapp) and Gilles M. Grondin. Shawn lived in Hartford, CT with his wife Noraliz Grondin, whom he loved more than life itself. Shawn worked as a truck driver for Kamco Co. Shawn loved helping people in any way he could and had an incredible sense of humor. One of his greatest passions in life was cars. But nothing compared to his love for his grandchildren, he enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Shawn is survived by his loving parents Darcy A. (Knapp) Grondin and Gilles M. Grondin, and his two sisters Melissa Rodriguez (Husband Jose) and Tiffany Grondin (Fiancé James Sabo) of Danbury. He is also survived by his beloved wife Noraliz Grondin of Hartford and their three children Bryan Gomez and his wife Jenine, Christina Rodriguez, and Rebecca Rodriguez. As well as his three grandchildren Joenelizz Lopez, Joechris Lopez, and Shayla Gomez, and four nephews and one soon to be niece.

A memorial service for Shawn will be held on Sunday, July 17th at 1:00 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Calling hours will be held prior to the service, from 12:00 to 2:30. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
