

Born in Jamaica, New York, Terry was the daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn (Bender) Kropp. She was raised in Jamaica and graduated from Brookfield High School before later settling in Roxbury, Connecticut, where she built a home and raised her family.
Terry was the beloved wife of the late George Robert Alfson, Jr. Together, they shared more than four decades of marriage and operated a successful home ceramics studio business, combining their creativity with a love of working together.
Throughout her life, Terry enjoyed many creative pursuits, including ceramics, quilting, jewelry making, and other crafts. She also found great pleasure in feeding the birds and wildlife that visited her yard. A dedicated volunteer, Terry proudly served as the leader of her daughter Alicia's Girl Scout troop, where she enjoyed encouraging creativity and sharing her talents with others.
Terry will be remembered for the many projects she created the memories she shared with family and friends, and the quiet joy she found in the hobbies she loved. Her memory will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.
Terry is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Alicia “Megan” Alfson Gregorio and Paul Gregorio, and their daughter, Mikayla; her son, Christopher Alfson; her stepson, Raymond Alfson and his wife, Linda, and their children, Amy and Joseph; her sister, Judith Farrington and her husband, Randy; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of Terry's family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Terry's memory may be made to Roxbury Congregational Church, 24 Church Street, Roxbury, CT 06783.
